Fly Arna, Armenia's national airline, partnered with COAF Smart Center in the Lori region of Armenia to organize a special visit for local children on International Child Protection Day. The purpose of this initiative was to offer a unique learning opportunity about the aviation industry, allowing the children to interact with aviation professionals and gain insights into the world of pilots and flight attendants.

Shedding the light on the importance towards educating the next generation of Armenian pilots, the school visit aimed to cultivate students’ interest about the aviation industry as well as the role of pilots and cabin crew.

Yerevan, Armenia; June 10, 2022: Fly Arna, Armenia’s national airline and a joint venture company between the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) and Air Arabia Group, today held the launch ceremony of the airline at the Presidential Terminal in Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan.
The launch ceremony was attended by H.E. Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, representatives of the Government of Armenia, along with senior leaders of the Armenian National Interests Fund, Air Arabia Group, Civil Aviation Committee, Zvartnots International Airport, members of the press and other delegates. The ceremony included the arrival of Fly Arna’s first Airbus A320 aircraft, which has departed from Sharjah International Airport carrying a delegation from Air Arabia Group and was received by a water cannon salute at Zvartnots International Airport.
During the ceremony, Fly Arna has also announced the launch date of its first commercial flight that will mark the launch of its flight operation. Inaugural flight G6501 will take off from Zvartnots International Airport to Hurghada International Airport in Egypt on July 3, 2022. Fly Arna launch destinations will also include direct flights connecting Armenia with Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and Beirut in Lebanon (pending approval). The brand name ‘Arna’ is derived from company’s official name ‘Armenian National Airlines’ with ‘AR’ taken from Armenian, ‘N’ from National and ‘A’ from Airlines. Chosen following a public competition, the name ‘Fly Arna’ was identified to be most inclusive and reflective of the spirit of the joint venture company to transform the aviation sector of the country.
With its colours inspired by the Armenia flag, the ‘Fly Arna’ logo and brand identity was designed to reflect the young, modern and a value-driven national airline that strive to become the most accessible and sensible choice for air travel in Armenia and beyond. Yerevan, Armenia; April 15, 2022: Fly Arna, Armenia’s national airline and a joint venture company between the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) and Air Arabia Group, today announced the graduation of its first batch as cabin crew in their brand new uniform, who successfully completed their technical and customer service training.
This graduation follows the wide recruitment campaign that took place last January in Armenia to support of the launch of the airline operations. The graduated cadet consisted of 20 cabin crew members who graduated after completing their extensive initial and practical course and training.
As batch 01 is ready to embark, two more cabin crew batches are currently under training. This follows the readiness of the Fly Arna’s first aircraft that completed its paint job earlier this week.

The graduated cadet consisted of 20 cabin crew members who have graduated after the completion of an extensive initial and practical course and training. And as part of Fly Arna’s readiness to start its operations, more cabin crew batches are under training and soon to graduate.
With the graduation of more cabin crew cadet, Fly Arna is preparing to start operations in a fully trained and qualified crew.

Yerevan, Armenia; May 26, 2022: Fly Arna, Armenia’s national airline and a joint venture company between the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) and Air Arabia Group, announced today the graduation of 18 new A320 qualified pilots; comprised of 9 First Officers and 9 Captains who have successfully completed an intensive training program that consisted of three parts ground training, simulator training and checking and line training. The training took place in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates by a team of professional trainers and examiners.
In compliance with the highest international standards that Fly Arna follows, the completion of the training followed a rigorous selection process that included practical assessment and comprehensive technical interview.
As the airline is preparing to start its operations, Fly Arna continues moving forward in keeping the employment of top talents at the cores of its recruitment strategy.
Yerevan, Armenia; June 03, 2022: Fly Arna, Armenia’s national airline and a joint venture company between the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) and Air Arabia Group, today announced that it has received its Air Operating Certificate (AOC) and Air Operator License (AOL), which allow it to start operating from Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport.
Securing the AOC and AOL highlight that Fly Arna has met all the professional capabilities, adheres to all safety regulations needed for aircraft operations and has proven fit-to-fly ability following the completion of rigorous inspections by the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia (CAC). Fly Arna will continue to work closely with the Civil Aviation Committee to finalize the launch date.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the Fly Arna’s team successfully obtained the operating license on time after meeting all the required standards and passing all inspections. This important milestone will now allow the airline to start its operations and reflect the confidence of the Armenian aviation sector, its potential and the role that Fly Arna will play in supporting its long-term prospects.
Fly Arna has been assigned the reservation code G6 by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The carrier will use Airbus A320 aircraft and will follow the low-cost business model of Air Arabia.
